Directorate-General for Regional Policy and Urban Development

The Directorate General for Regional Policy and Urban Development (REGIO) is a Directorate General of the European Commission . She is assigned to the Commissioner for Regional Policy. Marc Lemaître is the head of the general management .

Directorates

The directorate-general is based in Brussels and is divided into seven directorates:

  • Directorate A: Budget, Communication and General Affairs
  • Directorate B: Politics
  • Directorate C: Audit
  • Directorate D: European Territorial Cooperation, Macro-Regions, Interreg and Implementation I
  • Directorate E: Strengthening administrative skills and implementation III
  • Directorate F: Closing, major projects and implementation III
  • Directorate G: Smart and Sustainable Growth and Implementation IV
