Interpreting Directorate-General

The Directorate-General for Interpretation (SCIC) is a Directorate-General of the European Commission . It is assigned to the Commissioner for Financial Planning and Budget Günther Oettinger and is headed by Florika Fink-Hooijer .

The Directorate General is based in Brussels and is divided into three directorates:

  • Directorate A: Interpreters
  • Directorate B: Management of interpreting services and professional support
  • Directorate C: Resources and Central Services
