Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs

The Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (HOME) is a Directorate-General of the European Commission . She is assigned to Commissioners Dimitris Avramopoulos and Julian King . The head of the general management is Monique Pariat .

The Directorate-General was created in 2010 when the Justice, Freedom and Security departments were split up.

Directorates

The directorate-general is based in Brussels and is divided into six directorates:

  • Directorate A: Strategy and Policy Issues
  • Directorate B: Migration, Mobility and Innovation
  • Directorate C: Migration and Protection
  • Directorate D: Security
  • Directorate E: Migration and Security Fund, Financial Resources
  • Directorate F: Financial Audit, Data Management and Risk Assessment
