Georg Alpers junior

Georg Alpers jun. (* before 1888; † after 1914) was a German ( court ) photographer , printer and publisher of his own postcards in the 19th and 20th centuries in Hanover .

Georg Alpers jun. ran an "art institute for photography, collotype , photolithography , autotype , zinc etching " and offered its "art publishing house" for various photographic recordings.

In 1888 Georg Alpers jun. Co-founder of the Hanover Photography Association. In 1889 he wrote in the Deutsche Photographen-Zeitung : “When we decided a year ago to found a photographic association here [in Hanover], we did not hide the difficulties of this venture, all the more because several such attempts had been made in earlier years unsuccessful, so that the greatest doubts prevailed whether it would come about correctly. "

In 1897 the " owners : Alpers & Meissner" ran their "special atelier [...]" in what was then Heinrichstrasse 63 . From the same year Alpers also made blueprints .

Georg Alpers junior acquired the title purveyor to the court around 1914 .
