Georg Schuchter
Georg Schuchter (born December 5, 1952 in Salzburg ; † September 29, 2001 near Berchtesgaden ) was an Austrian actor.
Career
Schuchter was the son of the conductor Gilbert Schuchter. He studied at the Academy for Music and Performing Arts, Mozarteum , in Salzburg (first piano and conductor, then from 1974 to 1977 acting). He began his professional theater career at the Burgtheater in Vienna (1977–1985). Further stations were the State Drama Theaters in Berlin , the Volkstheater Vienna , the Schauspielhaus Zurich , the Salzburg Festival , the Ulm Theater , the Zurich Opera House and the Paris Opera . In addition to his theater work, he has appeared in numerous films, such as Der Bockerer .
Schuchter, whose passion was sport as well as theater, had an accident in 2001 when he was descending from Hohen Göll . It rests in the Petersfriedhof in Salzburg. His sister is the actress Gabriele Schuchter .
