Gabriela Benesch (born July 29, 1965 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress , cabaret artist and coach for actors.

life and work

Gabriela Benesch completed her acting training in Vienna. She began her stage career at the Theater in der Josefstadt , to which she belonged for several years as a member of the ensemble.

She has made guest appearances at renowned theaters in Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Zurich, at the Reichenau Festival and several times at the Volkstheater in Vienna.

For film and television, she played leading roles in German, Austrian and international productions, such as B. Bernds Hexe (2002 to 2004) and most recently in the TV multi-part 11er Haus , the ZDF comedies Die Face Slap, Feine Dame, Everyone needs a secret, The Slupetzkis, the ARD TV crime novels Der Ermittler , Tatort , Team Berlin and the TV movies The Seed Trader and Inga Lindström.

Gabriela Benesch has also been active in cabaret since 2006. Most recently with the solo cabaret program Cavewoman , based on "defending the cavewoman" by South African author Emma Peirson . Together with actor and director Erich Furrer , she is currently doing other cabaret programs.
