Gioia Osthoff (born September 7, 1990 in Rüßwihl , Baden-Württemberg ) is a German actress .

Life

Gioia Osthoff, born in Germany , emigrated to Ecuador with her family in 1997 . There she attended the German School in Quito . She was already active as a soloist in the school choir at the age of nine and has appeared on stage in several theater productions. At seventeen she moved to Berlin , where she played at the Expedition Metropolis theater with her first guest performances and co-productions in Poland and Peru .

She attended the Grupo de Teatro Malayerba in Ecuador and was taught in Vienna by Heidi Baratta and Katja Thost-Hauser , among others . In June 2013 she passed the stage maturity test and her first engagements at the theater and in film followed.

In 2015 she became part of the Salon5 / Wortwiege ensemble and played at the Nestroyhof Hamakom Theater , the Metro Kino Vienna and the Thalhof in Reichenau an der Rax , among others . In 2019 Gioia Osthoff wrote her first children's piece, on behalf of the Jeunesse Konzerthaus Wien. Accompanied by the Aureum Saxophone Quartet with Mussorgsky s " Pictures at an Exhibition ", she brought it to the stage there too.

In the film “La Pasada” she embodied the young Flora, whose adult counterpart is Erni Mangold .

In 2014 she played Dorothea von Sagan in “Diplomatic Liaisons” alongside Verena Altenberger and Michael König in the Congress of Vienna .

In the short film "At the end of the day", which won 2nd place at the INSTANT 36 film festival, she played the main role, the daughter. For the short film "Zerrissen" she worked with the music producer Paul Gallister and recorded the songs "Qué es la vida" and "La vida es un regalo" with him.

As a spokesperson for the animated series " Hexe Lilli ", produced by Dor Film , she gave her voice to various roles. In 2019 she gave the voice of Anne in the English version of the new international film " Peterchens Mondfahrt " .
