Heidi Baratta (born April 6, 1952 in Enns ) is an Austrian actress and painter .

Life

Heidi Baratta studied acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna with Otto Tausig and Susi Nicoletti . Baratta's first engagements took him to the Vienna Burgtheater (1979, summer guests of Maxim Gorki , director: Achim Benning , invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen and MChAT Moscow / 1979, spring awakening by Frank Wedekind , director: Dieter Giesing / 1979, comedy of seduction by Arthur Schnitzler , director: Horst Zankl , set design: Hans Hollein , costumes: Karl Lagerfeld / 1980, Oedipus auf Kolonos by Sophocles with Rolf Boysen and Brigitta Furgler ), of which she became a permanent member of the ensemble during her training. In the same year she brought Michael Haneke to the Schillertheater (Berlin) for Illness of the Young , where she was a guest and a permanent member of the ensemble.

As a film actress, she was seen for the first time in the lead role in Inside and Outside by Andreas Gruber , who won the Max Ophüls Prize in 1984. Another lead role in the film had brain burning of Leopold Huber , who won the second place at the Max Ophüls competition. She also starred in the movies Hasenjagd - Out of sheer cowardice there is no mercy from Andreas Gruber, Lourdes by Jessica Hausner (nominated in the competition of the Biennale in Venice , the film won numerous awards worldwide). Heidi Baratta made her first television appearance in 1979 while still studying at Paulus Manker's side in Heinz Conrads and his friends .
