Giuseppe Pezzella (born November 29, 1997 in Naples ) is an Italian football player . The defender is currently under contract with Udinese Calcio .

Career

In the club

After Pezzella was mainly active for Monteruscello in his youth, he moved to US Palermo in 2013 . From the 2015/16 season , Pezzella, who continued to play in youth, was also a member of the Rosanero professional squad . Pezzella made his Serie A debut in the first half of the season when he was on the pitch in the 3-0 loss to Atalanta Bergamo on December 6, 2015 . In the second half of the season Pezzella completed eight more games for US Palermo, which secured relegation.

In the summer of 2017, Pezzella moved to Udinese Calcio after Palermo was relegated .

In the national team

In 2015, Pezzella made his debut in Italy's U-18 national team , and shortly afterwards for the U-19 team , for which he has played since then. With her he became vice European champion at the U-19 European Championship 2016 .
