Lukas Reiff Lerager (born July 12, 1993 in Gladsaxe ) is a Danish football player . The midfielder is under contract with the French first division club Girondins Bordeaux and is part of the Danish national team .

Career

society

Akademisk Boldklub / AB Gladsaxe and Viborg FF (2011 to 2016)

Lukas Lerager played for Akademisk Boldklub in his youth and was part of the first team from 2011. On August 14, 2011, he scored his first goal in his debut in the men's division in the 2-2 away game against Jammerbugt FC with the goal to make it 1-0. In his first season, Lerager came to 18 appearances and two goals. In the following season he played for the club, which was now called AB Gladsaxe, in 26 games (one goal). In the summer of 2013 Lerager moved to the Superliga (the top division) and joined Viborg FF . On July 26, 2013, he made his debut in the 1-1 away game against FC Nordsjælland . In his first first division season, Lerager played 19 games. He was used in one game in the Danish Cup this season and made 19 appearances in the league. The following season he played twice in the Danish Cup competition (one goal in a 5-1 win in the second round against BK Marienlyst) and in 31 games in the Danish league.

SV Zulte Waregem and Girondins Bordeaux (since 2016)

In 2016 Lerager moved to Belgium for SV Zulte Waregem . On July 30, 2016, he played for the club for the first time in the 3-0 win on the first match day against AS Eupen and scored 1: 2 and 3: 2 in the away game against KV Mechelen on September 24 . Win his first two goals. Lerager came to five appearances in the Belgian Cup competition, 29 appearances (three goals) in the regular season and ten in the championship playoffs.

In summer 2017 he moved to Girondins Bordeaux in France . His contract runs until 2021. Lerager made his debut on July 27, 2017 with a 2-1 win in the first leg in the third qualifying round for the Europa League against Videoton FC . After a 0-1 defeat in the second leg, Girondins Bordeaux was eliminated because of the away goals rule. In his first season for the Aquitaine, Lerager played in 37 point games (three goals) and in a single game each in the League Cup and in the French Cup . Girondins Bordeaux qualified sixth in the table for the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League .

National team

Lerager played three games for the Danish U-18 national team , six games each for the U-19 and the U-20 and one for the U-21 national team . On June 6, 2017 he made his debut for the Danish national team in the 1-1 test match in Brøndby against Germany with his substitution in the 65th minute for Christian Eriksen .
