Peter Ankersen (born September 22, 1990 in Esbjerg ) is a Danish football player .
Career
Peter Ankersen joined the youth team at Esbjerg fB, where he played for the reserve team from 2008. In March 2010 he received a contract for the professional team in Esbjerg. On April 14, 2010 Ankersen made his professional debut in the Superliga when he came on as a substitute for Kian Hansen in the 77th minute when his team lost 3-2 to FC Copenhagen . It was also his only appearance in the 2009/10 season . This ended for Ankersen and his team with relegation from the Danish first division. Ankersen then left the club and moved to Vejle BK . On October 20, 2010, Ankersen scored the first goal of his professional career on the 16th matchday with a 3-2 intermediate result in a 4-2 win against FC Fyn . This season Ankersen came to 28 missions. In 2011/12 Ankersen made 12 season appearances. In March 2012 Ankersen moved to the Norwegian first division club at Rosenborg Trondheim . On April 9, 2012 Ankersen made his debut for Rosenborg when he was substituted on for Jan Inge Høiland in the goalless draw on Matchday 3 against Sogndal Fotball a minute before the end of regular time . In Trondheim he could not assert himself and came in the point game operation to only ten missions. Ankersen only played three times over 90 minutes. In August 2012 Ankersen signed a contract with his hometown club Esbjerg fB. Right away, Ankersen got a regular place and was used in 26 point games, scoring three goals.
In January 2014, he signed a four-year contract with FC Red Bull Salzburg that came into force in July 2014 . For the 2015/16 season he was loaned to FC Copenhagen in his home country and in the summer of 2016 he was committed to a transfer fee of 1.5 million euros until June 30, 2020.
In 2019 Ankersen moved to Italy to CFC Genoa .
