Globart is a think tank in Vienna . The association deals with future issues. Prominent artists and philosophers are offered a platform to enter into a discourse with speakers from science and business and to discuss socially relevant topics.

The Globart idea is based on five pillars: First, on the idea of ​​shaping the future together. Second, on the awareness of creating a cultural change. Third, the Globart Academy promotes an interdisciplinary dialogue in the fields of business, science, art and politics for a sustainable society. Fourthly, in addition to uncovering problems, it is just as important for Globart to show alternatives, to give pilot projects a platform and to promote them. The annual Globart Academy has been the core event since 1997. Since 2010 the event has been taking place in the Kloster Und in Krems / Stein in Austria. The interactive program comprises four days that make the annual theme tangible and tangible with lectures, workshops, concerts, talks and discussions. The Globart Academy's lectures are published as a series by Ambra Verlag (previously Springer Verlag ). Since 2010, the lectures have been broadcast via live stream and made available to everyone in the form of YouTube contributions.
