The Gmina Bukowina Tatrzańska is a rural municipality in the powiat Tatrzański of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the winter sports resort of the same name with around 2700 inhabitants.

The municipality is located in the High Tatras , including the Dolina Białki valley and its side valleys. The river Białka belongs to the waters .

From 1975 to 1998 the municipality belonged to the Nowy Sącz Voivodeship .
