The Gmina Jeziorany [ jɛʑɔranɨ ] is a city and country community in Olsztyn County of Warmia and Mazury in Poland . Your seat is the small town of Jeziorany (German Seeburg , Polish formerly Zybork ) with about 3250 inhabitants.
geography
The municipality, traversed by the small river Symsarna (Simser) , is located in historic Warmia on the northeastern edge of the Allenstein Lake District, which in turn belongs to the Masurian Lake District , about 33 kilometers northeast of Olsztyn (Allenstein) and 80 kilometers southeast of Kaliningrad (Königsberg) .
Agricultural areas merge into a hilly forest and lake landscape. There are three smaller lakes in the municipality, including the Rink. The community also borders other lakes in the west, north and east. The Święta Góra (Heidenberg) rises 179 meters in its area .

The Gmina has been a partner community of the Neuenkirchen integrated community since August 2006 .
