The Gmina Kostrzyn is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Poznański of the Greater Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city ​​of the same name ( German Kostschin ) with about 9670 inhabitants.

geography

The municipality is located about ten kilometers east of the city of Poznan . The national road DK92 and the railway line Berlin - Warsaw run through its main town .

history

The municipality was part of the Poznan Voivodeship from 1975 to 1998 . Her predecessors belonged to the Powiat Średzki until 1975 .
