Grądy Kruklaneckie ( German  Grunden ) is a place in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the rural community of Kruklanki (Kruglanken) in the Giżycki powiat ( Lötzen district ).

Geographical location

Grądy Kruklaneckie is located on the northeast bank of the Kruglinner See (1938 to 1945 Kraukelner See, in Polish Jezioro Kruklin ) in the north-east of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . It is 21 kilometers to the northwest to the former district town of Angerburg (Polish: Węgorzewo), and today's district metropolis Giżycko (Lötzen) is eleven kilometers to the southwest.

history

In 1785 the small village of Grunden was a Köllmisches estate with two fire pits, in 1818 with two fire pits and 23 residents. When in 1874 the District Kruklanki was erected reasons was incorporated and thus belonged to the district Angerburg in Administrative district Gumbinnen the Prussian province of East Prussia . In 1910 the Grunden manor had 35 inhabitants.

On September 30, 1928, Grunden gave up his independence and was incorporated into the rural community of Siewken ( Żywki in Polish ). As a result of the war, the village came to Poland in 1945 along with all of southern East Prussia and received the Polish form of the name "Grądy Kruklaneckie". Today the place is assigned to the Schulzenamt (Polish sołectwo) Kruklanki (Kruglanken) and thus belongs to the rural municipality of the same name in the powiat Giżycki ( Lötzen district ), before 1998 the Suwałki Voivodeship , since then it has belonged to the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship .

Religions

Until 1945 Grunden was parish in the Evangelical Church Kruglanken in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union and in the Catholic Church of St. Bruno in Lötzen (Polish: Giżycko) in the Diocese of Warmia .

Today Grądy Kruklaneckie belongs to the Catholic parish Kruklanki in the Diocese of Ełk (Lyck) of the Roman Catholic Church in Poland and to the Protestant parish of Giżycko in the Diocese of Masuria of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .
