Gustaf Eduard Graf Taube von Odenkat ( Swedish : Gustaf Edvard Taube af Odenkat; * November 4, 1818 in Uppsala , † May 14, 1899 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish count , colonel and city ​​commander of Stockholm. He came from the German-Swedish-Baltic noble family of the " von Taube ".

Career

Gustaf Eduard was married to Matilda Charlotta Degenær (1826–1856) and to Adelaide Constance Nyström (1834–1868) for the second time. Gustaf Eduard von Taube died on May 14, 1899 in Stockholm and was buried on the Artillerikyrkgården, on which his gravestone can also be found. He had four brothers, Carl Friedrich (1820–?), Arvid (1821–1887), Gustaf Diedrich (Göta) (1823–1887) and Henning Adolf (1826–1880), all of whom died before him. His nephew Henning Gustaf Count Taube von Odenkat (1851–1927), a son of Hennig Adolf, was the Count's successor .
