Guy Boulanger (Bishop)

Joseph Ferdinand Guy Boulanger (born June 6, 1963 in Sainte-Cécile-de-Whitton , Québec ) is a Canadian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Rouyn-Noranda .

Life

Guy Boulanger first attended school in Lac-Mégantic before he switched to the minor seminary in Sherbrooke . 1984 acquired Boulanger at the Université de Sherbrooke a degree in jurisprudence . He then studied philosophy in Sherbrooke and Catholic theology at Laval University in Québec . Boulanger received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Sherbrooke on October 26, 1991 .

After his ordination, Guy Boulanger was parish vicar in the parish of Cœur-Immaculé in Sherbrooke for a year , before he was parish vicar in the parishes of Sainte-Lucie in Disraeli and Saint-Julien , Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur and Saint-Charles-Borromée in Beaulac in 1992 -Garthby was.
