Hanna Philippin (born August 3, 1992 in Böblingen ) is a former German duathlete , triathlete , German junior champion (2011) and European triathlon champion juniors (2011).

Career

Hanna Philippin was a member of the B-team (U23) of the German Triathlon Union (DTU).

Junior European Triathlon Champion 2011

In June 2011 she became European Junior Triathlon Champion in Spain and German Junior Triathlon Champion in July. In September 2013 she finished fourth in the U23 World Cup in London.

In the Triathlon World Championship racing series in 2015 , she finished 18th as the second best German.

Hanna Philippin lives in Renningen , she was with the sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr, trained in Jan Frodeno's "Team Strive" and she started for the VFL Sindelfingen club .

Olympic Games 2016

In the two-year qualification period for a starting place at the 2016 Olympic Games , Hanna Philippin achieved the second-best placement of the German athletes on the ITU Olympic qualification list with 28th place, but did not meet the sporting qualification criteria agreed by the DTU and DOSB .

In the 2016 ITU annual ranking, she came in 32nd as the second best German.

In September 2017, the then 25-year-old declared her active professional career over.
