Joseph Hannesschläger
Joseph Hannesschläger (born June 2, 1962 in Munich ; † January 20, 2020 there ) was a German actor and musician .
Life
After training as a chef, Joseph Hannesschläger received his acting training from 1987 to 1990 with Hilde Rehm, Beles Adam, Harald Ludwig, Gaby Rothmüller and Alexander Duda .
After training he played a. a. in plays such as Waiting for Godot , A Midsummer Night's Dream , Caligula , The Physicists, and West Side Story . He played the “master” at the Prinzregententheater in Munich in the world premiere of the theater version of the novel Krabat by Otfried Preußler and, together with Susanne Brantl, opened the studio stage of the State Theater on Gärtnerplatz in Munich (“Zerwirkgewölbe”) with the recital midnight songs by Wilfried, which was turned into a musical play Hiller and Michael Ende . He wrote and performed several cabaret programs and also worked as a theater director.
On television, Joseph Hannesschläger played in over 40 series and television films, including guest roles in the TV series Der Bulle von Tölz . Joseph Hannesschläger became known to a large audience through his role as detective chief commissioner and farmer Korbinian Hofer in the series Die Rosenheim-Cops (over 400 episodes and four TV films). In the cinema, Hannesschläger played in Der Schuh des Manitu (barman) , Only about my corpse , Bandits , Die Apothekerin , Poppitz , Tough guys and in Knallharte Jungs .
As a musician he was active with his show band Discotrain . In June 2011 he released the CD Munich in the summer on Sony Music. About 50 percent of the music and 75 percent of the lyrics came from his pen. In 2011 Hannesschläger had to take a break from work due to several leg injuries. From April 2012 he turned again The Rosenheim Cops and was on the air again from January 15, 2013.
Hannesschläger was socially committed, among other things, to the Christmas in the Shoebox campaign of the Gifts of Hope Association , which he supported in 2015 as part of a campaign with other celebrities. Hannesschläger often supported public election campaign events of the SPD and the Greens .
In the summer of 2018 he married his partner, Bettina Geyer from Munich. At the beginning of October 2019 it became known that Joseph Hannesschläger suffered from cancer ( neuroendocrine tumor ) with metastases in the liver, which could only be treated palliatively , and that he had to get out of the series The Rosenheim Cops .
Joseph Hannesschläger died on January 20, 2020 at the age of 57 in a hospice in Munich as a result of his illness. The public memorial service, requested by Hannesschläger, was held on January 27th in the mourning hall of the crematorium at the Ostfriedhof in Munich . Family, friends, fans and colleagues said goodbye. Friend Christian Ude and colleagues from the Rosenheim cops , Max Müller and Alexander Duda , gave funeral speeches. Instead of flowers and wreaths, Hannesschläger wanted donations for the Cystic Fibrosis Association . After the cremation , the urn was buried at a later date in the Ostfriedhof in the closest family circle, in the grave of his mother (grave 157-7-26).
