Hanno Schlögl

Hanno Schlögl (born February 17, 1944 in Hall in Tirol ) is an Austrian architect .

Life

Hanno Schlögl attended the HTL for structural engineering in Innsbruck , where among others Hans Nagiller and Norbert Heltschl were his teachers. He then studied architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in the master class of Roland Rainer , which he graduated with a diploma in 1967. In 1973 he opened his own architecture office in Innsbruck. From 2003 to 2018 he ran a civil engineering company with Daniel Süß under the name Schlögl & Süß Architects . He has been running the Hanno Schlögl architectural office since 2018.

From 1977 to 1980 Schlögl taught as a lecturer for architecture and environmental design at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, from 1991 to 1998 he was a lecturer for design at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture at the University of Innsbruck . From 1992 to 1995 he was a member of the advisory board for architectural and urban planning issues in Feldkirch and from 1989 to 2004 a member of the Tyrolean cultural council.

Schlögl's works include public buildings such as residential and nursing homes, schools and cultural buildings, which he often realized after winning competitions . These are straight, classic buildings modeled on architects of the classic modern era such as Frank Lloyd Wright , Mies van der Rohe , Le Corbusier or Louis I. Kahn .
