Hans Klüber
Hans Klüber (born November 25, 1902 in Cologne , † November 1, 1981 in Mannheim ) was a German politician ( SPD ).
Life
Hans Klüber studied law and economics. As a government assessor, he entered the administrative service of the State of Prussia and worked in various administrative authorities.
In 1945 Klüber became mayor of Solingen , then in 1946 city director and city treasurer of Solingen. 1947 Oberstadtdirektor of Oldenburg , he became Lord Mayor of Offenbach am Main from 1950 to 1957 . From May 1, 1957 to June 30, 1965, he was Lord Mayor of the city of Ludwigshafen am Rhein and also Head of Culture. Many social housing projects were implemented during his tenure.
In his private life, Hans Klüber was a committed art collector. A foundation was set up from his estate, which still supports the Wilhelm Hack Museum today .
Klüber found his final resting place in the main cemetery in Ludwigshafen .
