Hansfelde is a part of the municipality in the district of Wismar of the municipality of Uckerland in the district of Uckermark in Brandenburg . The districts of Hansfelde and Wismar together form the district of Wismar. The northernmost point of Brandenburg is on the Hansfelde district.

geography

The northernmost settlement in the state of Brandenburg is located two kilometers north of Wismar and five kilometers northeast of Strasburg on an open agricultural landscape . The Hansfelde district is completely unforested, with the exception of smaller groups of bushes and trees. It extends from the north to the south edge of just under five kilometers and from the west to the east edge up to three kilometers. The northernmost point of the district and at the same time northernmost of the state of Brandenburg is almost two kilometers north of the northern edge of the settlement and only a few meters east of state road 32 and the town of Burgwall .

The northern part of the district extends to the southern foothills of the Brohmer Mountains . These are the nature reserve Burgwall Rothemühl and Burgwall Rothemühl as well as the 125.5  m high Schanzenberg . Between the northern edge of the district and the aforementioned landscape elements there is a narrow strip that is part of the Rosenthal district .

Neighboring towns are Burgwall in the north, Klein Luckow in the northeast, Groß Luckow in the east, Wismar in the south, Strasburg in the southwest and Schwarzensee and Rosenthal in the northwest.

history

Before 1816 the area belonged to the Uckermark district of the Uckermark region in the Mark Brandenburg and was part of the Prenzlau district in that year . For an application of 1831 is evidence that the Lord von Arnim on Neuensund on a ceded to him farm near the village of Wismar a new Vorwerk which are yet to be named has built had. In 1832 the place was first mentioned in writing on page 52 of the Potsdam government gazette under its current name. Hansfelde was entered as Guts Establissement in 1835 on the measuring table sheet with the number 1052/2448 and the name Strasburg . In 1840 two residential buildings and a total of 69 inhabitants were recorded in addition to a Vorwerk.

Previously belonging to the Neuensund Patrimonial Court, the place came to the Strasburg Court Commission in 1849. In 1850 a license was granted to set up a distillery with a steam boiler. In 1858 the place had 111 inhabitants and in 1860 the size of the district was given as 1029 acres ; thereof 21 acres of farmsteads, 1,752 acres of fields and 256 acres of meadows. In the same year the place became a Vorwerk of the former Wismar estate and comprised 4 residential and 16 farm buildings, including a steam distillery. In 1872, a von Arnim zu Neuensund was recorded as the owner of the village, which had been recruited to Wismar. From 1879 the Strasburg District Court was responsible and in 1895 a total of 130 residents lived here. In 1900 there was a manor and an associated 553 hectare manor district with a total of 7 houses and an inspector worked here. In 1925, 163 residents belonged to the place.

In 1927, still listed as a manor, Hansfelde was merged with the municipality of Wismar in 1928 and was listed there as an associated living space in 1931. In 1948 a total of 546 hectares were expropriated and declared public property. From 1950 the Hansfelde residential area belonged to the Ueckermünde district and in 1952 it became part of the Strasburg district in the Neubrandenburg district . Hansfelde was recorded as part of the former municipality of Wismar in 1957 and 1971. In 1978 the state-owned estates Groß Luckow and Strasburg had operational parts in Hansfelde. On December 31, 2001, the place was an inhabited part of the community of the newly created community Uckerland. The district today forms together with that of Wismar the district of the same name.
