Hard Rain is a live album by Bob Dylan from 1976. It was during the second part of its Thunder Rolling Review on May 16, 1976 in Fort Worth, Texas, and Hughes Stadium on May 23, 1976 Fort Collins , Colorado , added .

A film recording was made of the concert on May 23, which was broadcast by NBC in September 1976 and shortly afterwards also ran on the main ARD program .

The album was named after one of Dylan's most famous tracks (A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall) , although this song is not included on the LP.

The album contains songs from the albums Blonde on Blonde (Stuck Inside of Mobile…), Desire (Oh, Sister), Blood on the Tracks (Shelter from the Storm, You're a Big Girl Now and Idiot Wind) , The Times They Are A-Changin ' (One Too Many Mornings) and Nashville Skyline (Lay Lady Lay and I Threw It All Away) . For a large rock band, some of the pieces were rearranged radically compared to the studio versions. The album does not document a complete performance or a chronologically correct excerpt from a concert.
