Haris Bilajbegovic
Haris Bilajbegović (born September 8, 1978 in Villach ) is an Austrian actor , stuntman , author , director , certified martial arts and violence prevention trainer of Bosnian descent.
Life
After compulsory school, Bilajbegović learned the profession of bricklayer . Besides, he graduated stunt and acting classes in Germany and Austria and passed the university entrance exam, adhere to the University of Klagenfurt for Journalism and Communication Sciences enroll. In his diploma thesis he dealt with communication behavior in the Chinese martial art Wing Tsun , which he has been practicing since 1997 and is also a certified trainer in it. He also received acting lessons from Michael Weger from the Neue Bühne Villach . After completing his diploma thesis in 2005, he completed a degree in pedagogy and received his doctorate in 2009 at the University of Klagenfurt with a dissertation on the personality development of children in the Chinese martial art Wing Tsun .
His first major success was the role of Kolja in an episode of Inspector Rex entitled One Always Dies from 2002. In it he played a seedy Russian. A year later, Bilajbegović played the bodyguard in the film C (r) ook , directed by Pepe Danquart , which was shown in Austrian cinemas in 2004.
In 2003, Bilajbegović submitted his own script to a writers' competition and made it into the top three ratings. His short film Most - The Bridge tells a true story from the Bosnian War 1992. The script was filmed in summer 2006. The film was shown at over 60 national and international film festivals and won over 20 awards.
In films such as New York: November , Quickly determined , The perpetrator , and The first day Bilajbegović acted with. When movie revenge by Götz Spielmann Bilajbegović took over the role of a bat and the stunt coordinator. The film was presented at the Berlinale and won the Art Cinéma Award and the Europa Cinemas label . Revenche was nominated for the Oscar abroad in 2009.
Bilajbegović also shot commercials for McDonald’s . Then he got a record deal for the single kloss project feat. Haris - SÜPURMANIA . The remix by DJ Ostkurve ran in the discos on Mallorca and Ibiza .
This was followed by his second film, Svjedok - The Witness , a documentary that in turn deals with the events of the Bosnian War in 1992. The film was submitted to national and international film festivals in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and was nominated for the German Human Rights Film Award in 2012 .
His two films were no-budget films . Bilajbegović dedicated it to all known and unknown victims of the Bosnian War.
