Harry Studt

Harry Studt (born February 20, 1899 in Breslau ; † January 23, 1976 in Potsdam ) was a German actor , artistic director , director as well as dubbing and radio play speaker .

Life

Harry Studt's first known station in his career as an actor was the Albert Theater in Dresden . In the mid-1930s he also had engagements in Berlin at the Volksbühne and the Theater am Nollendorfplatz . From 1948 to 1952 he was artistic director at the Elbe-Elster-Theater in Lutherstadt Wittenberg , where he also appeared on stage as an actor. In the mid-1950s, he began working at DEFA as a production manager before he was in front of the camera for movies and German television . At the same time he began to take on roles as a voice actor at DEFA and as a speaker for radio plays on the radio in the GDR .
