Hermann Schüstenstuhl (born December 15, 1894 in Pforzheim , † February 24, 1982 in Hanover ) was a German sculptor .

Hermann Schüstenstuhl began his training as a sculptor first in Pforzheim, then studied in Karlsruhe with Wilhelm Gerstel and then with Bernhard Bleeker in Munich . Study trips took him to France, Italy, England and the Netherlands.

From 1925, Scheuenstuhl was head of the sculpture department at the Werkkunstschule Hannover and became a member of the NSDAP ; Many of his works, which were committed to the monumentality of the Nazi ideology , are still in exposed locations in the city of Hanover, especially on the Maschsee . Scheuenstuhl is on the list compiled in 1944 .

Hermann Schüstenstuhl was a member of the German Association of Artists . From 1937 to 1941 Ingeborg Steinohrt was his student at the School of Applied Arts .
