Herta Hareiter
Herta Hareiter , also Hertha Hareiter (born May 28, 1923 in Vienna; † July 31, 2015 probably in Wieselburg ) was an Austrian film architect .
Hareiter studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and gained her first film experience in 1942 while she was still training as a temporary worker in the production of Late Love . After the end of the war, she assisted in 1947 as a production designer for the film Singing Angels .
In 1948 she got a job as a stage and costume designer at the Theater in der Josefstadt . She later worked at the Burgtheater , Volkstheater and Bürgerertheater . In addition, she continued to work as a film assistant, where she met her husband, the film architect Otto Pischinger , with whom she had often cooperated since 1954. She was particularly often seen in films by Franz Antel .
