Hildegard Lena Kuhlenberg (born October 29, 1948 in Bochum ) is a German actress .

Life

Kuhlenberg grew up in her native Bochum. She first completed a university degree ( German / English for teaching), which she completed with the 1st and 2nd state examination. After three years of school practice, in which she taught in upper secondary level , she gave up her job as a teacher. She went to the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen , where she studied acting and got her acting diploma. From 1979 to 1991 she worked mainly as a stage actress. She had engagements a. a. at the Schauspielhaus Bochum , the Schauspiel Köln , the Wuppertaler Schauspielhaus , the Schauspielhaus Kiel , the Hamburger Schauspielhaus and the Theater am Goetheplatz in Bremen .

Her important stage roles included the title roles in " Minna von Barnhelm " and " Emilia Galotti ", Klara in " Maria Magdalena ", Elisabeth in " Faith, Love, Hope ", Marie in " Woyzeck ", Lena in " Leonce and Lena ", Marion in " Dantons Tod " and Rachel in "Schöne Bescherungen" by Alan Ayckbourn . She kicked u. a. in productions by Frank-Patrick Steckel , Wolfgang Wiens , Ernst Wendt and Andrea Breth . In the 1986/87 season she took on the role of Asta in " Klein Eyolf " (director: Fritz Marquardt ) at the Bochumer Kammerspiele . She played the role of Rachel in "Schöne Bescherungen" in 1987 at the Bochumer Schauspielhaus in a production by Andrea Breth; her partners were Nicole Heesters , Georg-Martin Bode and Stefan Hunstein . Since 1991 she has also been working as a freelance actress for radio (including radio play speaker for WDR ), film and television.

She took on her first film roles in the late 1980s. In Hark Bohm's film The Little Public Prosecutor (1987) she played the role of Frau Kaiser. She played the wife of the unemployed civil engineer Kaiser ( Martin Lüttge ), who got the professionally interesting offer to become managing director of a construction company. From the mid-1990s, Kuhlenberg mainly worked for film and television.

In the movie comedy Superstau (1991) she played Ilse Pacholke, the wife of the choleric miner Herrmann Pacholke ( Ralf Richter ) from Gelsenkirchen . In the television series Vera Wesskamp about the manager of an inland shipping company with Maren Kroymann in the lead role, she had a continuous series role from 1992-1993. She played Conny Becker, the heroine's best friend. In the television film Geschwister - Kardeşler (1997) about a Turkish-German family in Berlin-Kreuzberg , she played the German mother in an otherwise Turkish environment. After a long period of unemployment , which she faced as an older actress, Kuhlenberg received this role through mediation and funding from the Institute for Drama, Film and TV Professions in Berlin .

In the movie Oktoberfest (2005) she played resolute Maria, whose traditional ride on the Munich Oktoberfest is about to run out of money. In the episode film Nine Scenes (2005) she was Julian's mother. In the film drama Eden (2006) she played the mother of the professionally and personally failed lawyer Xaver Drebb ( Devid Striesow ). In Der Liebeswunsch (2006) she played the mother of the student Anja, who is the focus of the plot.

In 2008 she was seen as Klara Scholz in the Wilsberg crime thriller Internal affairs . She played the financially indebted mother of the police officer Oliver Scholz, who is trying to make ends meet with a bike shop. In the television film Love is not forgotten (2009) she played Fanny, one of the two best friends of the main female character Eva ( Katrin Saß ). In the crime scene: Die Wiederkehr (first broadcast: March 2015) she had a small role as the owner of a snack truck on a campsite.

In the ZDF series The Public Prosecutor she had a small, recurring series role as Sonja Reuther; she played the wife of the public prosecutor Dr. Bernd Reuther ( Rainer Hunold ). She also had episode roles and a. in the television series Der König (1996), Wolkenstein , (1996), Sophie - Smarter Than Police Allowed (1997), Friendship with Heart (1997; as Rose Zirpenbach, wife of astrologer Franz Zirpenbach), SK Kölsch (1999), Heartbeat - The North Medical Team (2000; as Ms. Baldauf, who cannot cope with her husband's supposed new heart attack and collapses in the clinic) and A Case for Two (2001). In December 2015 she was seen in the ZDF crime series SOKO Cologne in a supporting role; she played the murder victim, the rich noblewoman Tina von Etz, who keeps younger lovers. In January 2018, she was also seen in the ZDF TV series SOKO Wismar in a supporting role as an older bank customer Regina Pollak, who wants to make a donation for orphans in Rwanda , and is the victim of a bank robbery .

Kuhlenberg lived alternately in Cologne and in Pergola (PU), in the province of Pesaro and Urbino in Italy . Your current place of residence (as of January 2018) is Berlin .
