Hoàng Thị Ngọc (born February 10, 1995 in Quảng Bình ) is a Vietnamese sprinter .

Athletic career

Hoàng Thị Ngọc gained her first experience in international competitions at the Junior Asian Championships 2014 in Taipei , where she won the bronze medal in the 400-meter run in 55.36 s . In 2017 she took part in the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar and originally won the silver medal behind the team from India in 3: 33.22 minutes with the Vietnamese 4 x 400 meter relay. However, the Indian team was subsequently disqualified for a doping violation and the gold medal was awarded to Vietnam. At the end of August, she won the relay at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur in 3: 33.40 minutes . She then took part in the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat , where she was disqualified in the 400 meter run. The following year she won the bronze medal with the Vietnamese relay at the Asian Games in Jakarta in 3: 33.23 minutes behind the teams from India and Bahrain. At the Asian Championships in Doha , she finished fifth with the relay in 3: 37.27 minutes. In December she won the gold medal with the relay at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas in 3: 34.64 minutes.
