The scattered houses located on the 400- 570  m above sea level. A. in the Lower Mühlviertel , about 6 kilometers northeast of the city of Perg , east of Windhaag.

The place comprises about 35 buildings, with around 100 inhabitants (as of 2001). A few houses in the very north of the village, on Rechberger Straße , are already in the municipality of Rechberg, so that the place falls into two municipalities .

The Windhaag locality also includes the scattered houses Joch (at the culmination of the local area), and the individual layers Kurz bei Joch, as well as Flea in the south, and Kloiber in the very north.

From a geological and geomorphological point of view as well as aspects of the use of space, Lehenbrunn belongs to the Upper Austrian spatial unit Aist-Naarn-Kuppenland .

Limits

The northern and eastern borders are formed by the Modlerbach ( called Kropfmüllerbach in the upper reaches ), also called Tobra Canal (as it directs the water to the Tobrabach and Tobra towards Mettensdorf to the Mettensdorfer Mühlbach and to the Schwemmnaarn near the Danube). Towards the east, the Hausbergbach from Windhaager Hausberg  ( 563  m above sea level ) forms the border to the municipality's capital.
