The Honda CB 350 Four (type code 333) with a four-cylinder four - stroke in - line engine was presented by Honda in 1972 as the smallest type of the then popular CB four-cylinder motorcycles with a displacement of 350 to 750 cm³ and built until 1975.
history
After the outstanding success of the CB 750 Four presented in 1968 , Honda began to transfer this concept to the smaller displacements. So in 1971 the CB 500 Four , then the CB 350 Four and as its successor in 1975 the CB 400 Four were created . The CB 350 Four was thus the smallest model in this series of Honda motorcycles with transversely installed four-cylinder engines.
In later years, the series was further expanded with further displacement and equipment variants, including a Honda CB 360 .
Data
The CB 350 Four was offered in Germany in mid-1974 for DM 4,499 including 11% sales tax , which today corresponds to around EUR 6,400.
Your four-cylinder four-cycle engine had a moderate torque of 27.6 Newton meters (2.81 mkp) at 8,500 min -1 and made 25 kW (34 HP ) at 9,200 min -1 . The red area on the rev counter starts at 10,000 min -1 , but it can safely be turned beyond. In a test carried out by the magazine “Das Motorrad” (Issue 16/74) in mid-1974, the result was a speed of 159 km / h (long-lying solo) and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.8 s.
Today the model is sought after as a vintage motorcycle and is rare.
