Huppichteroth is a district in the municipality of Nümbrecht in North Rhine-Westphalia .

location

The place is as the crow flies about 1.5 km northwest of the center of Nümbrecht north of Homburg Castle in the Homburg region on the northern slope of the Bröltal .

history

First mention

In 1447 the place was mentioned for the first time in a document, namely "invoice of the rent master Joh. Van Flamersfelt " spelling of the first mention : Hupgereode (where Huprecht [Hubert] cleared)

In 2002, Huppichteroth celebrated its 555th anniversary with a themed village festival, at which many villagers appeared in historical clothing.
