The place is between Heddinghausen in the north and Lindscheid in the south. The place is as the crow flies around 4.5 km southwest of the center of Nümbrecht.

history

In 1575 the place was mentioned for the first time in the "Map of A. Mercator ". The spelling of the first mention was Meißeiffen .

On March 29, 1898, Robert Ley moved with his family from Niederbreidenbach to Mildsiefen. At the beginning of 1928 he moved to live with his in-laws in Straße .
