Hurst is a city in Tarrant County in the US state of Texas in the United States .

The city is located north of Fort Worth in northeast Texas, is about 85 km to the north from Oklahoma and has a total area of ​​25.6 km² without any significant water surface.

history

The city was named after William L. Hurst , a settler from Indiana who settled here after the American Civil War and donated the land.
