Euless is a city in Tarrant County in the US state of Texas in the United States .
geography
The city is located at the junction of Texas State Routes 10 and 183 , west of the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport in the northeast of the county, north of a tributary of the Trinity River and has a total area of 42.1 km² without any significant water surface.
history
The city was founded in 1867 by Elisha Adam Euless , a farmer and businessman from Tennessee , who settled here and u. a. built a mill and after which the place was named.

According to the 2000 census, 46,005 people in 19,218 households and 11,626 families lived here. The population density was 1,091.7 inhabitants per km². The racial the population was composed of 75.52% White, 6.49% African American, 0.64% Native American, 7.15% Asian, 1.86% Pacific Islander, and 5.38% other ethnic groups. About 2.96% were mixed race and 13.31% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
Of the 19,218 households, 31.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them. 45.3% of them were married couples living together. 10.9% were single mothers and 39.5% were non-families. 31.0% of all households were single households and 3.0% had people living in it who were 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.38 and the average family size was 3.05.
