IC 2525 is a compact elliptical galaxy of the Hubble type E0 in the constellation Little Leo in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 683 million light years from the Milky Way and about 60,000 light years in diameter.
The galaxies IC 2515 , IC 2518 , IC 2530 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on May 11, 1896 .
