IC 2541 is a spiral galaxy with extensive star formation regions of the Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Hydra south of the ecliptic . It is an estimated 214 million light years from the Milky Way and about 85,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart in May 1900 .
