IC 2534 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 / a in the constellation Antlia south of the celestial equator . It is estimated to be 115 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 35,000 light-years across. In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 3087 , IC 2532 , IC 2536 , IC 2538 .
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart in April 1900 .
