IC 2535 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sb in the constellation Little Leo in the northern sky . It is an estimated 311 million light years from the Milky Way and about 70,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on May 11, 1896 .
