IC 2558 is a spiral galaxy with extensive star formation from Hubble type SD in the constellation Antila on southern sky , an estimated 106 million light-years from the Milky Way 's center. The galaxies IC 2552 , IC 2556 , IC 2559 , IC 2560 lie in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on May 1, 1900 .
