IC 2576 is a spiral galaxy with extensive star formation regions of the Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Antlia in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 408 million light years from the Milky Way and about 95,000 light years across .
The galaxies NGC 3241 and IC 2575 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on May 1, 1900 .
