IC 2569 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type E0 in the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 618 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 550,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky there are u. a. the galaxies NGC 3216 and IC 2567 .
The object was discovered on March 26, 1900 by Stéphane Javelle .
