IC 2568 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBa in the constellation Little Leo in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 358 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 130,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky there are u. a. the galaxies IC 2564 and IC 2566 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on May 13, 1896 .
