IC 2567 is a lenticular galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type SB0 in the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 536 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 140,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky there are u. a. the galaxies NGC 3209 , NGC 3216 , IC 2569 .
The object was discovered on March 26, 1900 by Stéphane Javelle .
