IC 2575 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Antlia on the southern sky . It is estimated to be 764 million light years from the Milky Way and about 160,000 light years in diameter .
The galaxies NGC 3241 and IC 2576 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on May 1, 1900 .
