IC 2564 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E0 in the constellation Leo Minor at the northern sky , an estimated 711 million light-years from the Milky Way 's center. In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 2566 and IC 2568 .
The object was discovered on April 13, 1896 by Stéphane Javelle .
