IC 3301 = IC 3307 is a dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type E? in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 26 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of <5,000 ly. The galaxy is listed as a member of the Virgo galaxy cluster under catalog number VVC 790 . The galaxies NGC 4377 , IC 3238 , IC 3244 , IC 3344 are located in the same area of ​​the sky .

The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 10, 1904 .
