IC 4183 is an elliptical galaxy from the Hubble type E0 in the constellation Coma Berenices the northern sky . It is estimated to be 917 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 80,000 ly. A gravitational bond with IC 4181 is possible .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on January 27, 1904 .
