The list of ISO-3166-2 codes for Norway contains the codes for the 18 provinces ( Fylke ) and two outer areas.
The codes consist of two parts separated by a hyphen. The first part gives the country code according to ISO 3166-1 (for Norway NO
), the second the code for the county and the outer areas.

NO-13 was the code of the separate city and province of Bergen , which was integrated into the province of Hordaland in 1972, NO-16 stood for Sør-Trøndelag and NO-17 for Nord-Trøndelag , which merged into Trøndelag in 2018.
